*Educational Criteria:* BE/ME/MCA/MCS/Msc/No percentage criteria/No
eligibility criteria.
*Job Description:-* The Junior QA Tester helps in the planning,
constructing and execution of release tests and will eventually be
responsible for applying business and functional knowledge to meet the
team's overall test objectives. Develops growing skills with testing
principles, processes and methods as defined in the methodology framework.
The Junior Tester will ensuring that the testing standards, guidelines, and
testing methodology are applied as specified in testing approach, and that
all testing results are easily accessible and understandable. May perform
defect coordination functions, ensuring that test defects are tracked to
closure and that the defect repository is kept up-to-date with the current
status.
– Determine and meet time estimates and schedules for testing efforts
– Develop, update and maintain quality testing standards and procedures
– Communicate effectively with developers & project managers
– Assist in the planning, creation and control of the test environment(s)
– Determine and meet time estimates and schedules for testing efforts
– Participate in the coordination and execution of release testing
*Skills Required:*
– Technical aptitude or background preferably with experience in test
automation
– Will consider hiring soon-to-be college graduates as long as they have
some testing experience
– Very strong attention to detail
– 6months experience in testing
