JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Description:
Minimum Requirements:
. 7+ year experience with TSO/ISPF, Z/OS 2.1
. 7+ year experience with CICS 5.2, COBOL 4.2, JCL and DB2 V10 in both
on-line and batch environments
. 7+ year experience with MQseries, REXX, and DFSort
. Experience with TCP/IP, SNA, channels, containers and web services in an
MVS environment
. Thorough knowledge of structured programming technology for structured
language environment
. Thorough knowledge of interpersonal skills/team building
. Thorough knowledge of applications/development methodologies
. Thorough knowledge of ENDEVOR and Expeditor
. Considerable knowledge of performance tuning
. Skill in operating independently
. Skill in exhibiting solid analysis, decision-making, and problem solving
. Ability to assess requirements, alternatives, and risks/benefits for low-
to high-impact projects
Education:
– Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university in a related area
or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
7-10 years with 6-8 years full life cycle development experience and 5-7
years programming and system
design experience in financial services or a related industry in
directly-related progressively responsible positions; or equivalent
combination of education and experience.
