National Institute of Hydrology Recruitment 2016 – Walk in for Resource
Person, RA & JRF Posts: Ministry of Water Resources, Government of India,
National Institute of Hydrology (NIH), Roorkee has given a notification for the
recruitment of Resource Person (Junior), Research Associate & JRF vacancies
under the project titled "Peya Jal Suraksha-Development of six pilot riverbank
filtration demonstration schemes in different hydrogeological settings for
sustainable drinking water supply" on contractual basis. Eligible candidates
can attend for walk in interview on 04-01-2016 at 11:00 AM. Other details like

National Institute of Hydrology Vacancy Details:Total No of Posts: 03Name of the
Posts:1. Resource Person (Junior): 01 Post2. Research Associate: 01 Post3. JRF:
01 Post
Age Limit: Candidates maximum age should be 35 years for S.No-02 & 03 as on the
date of interview. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ ST/ OBC as per Govt of
India rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Post graduation degree in
Water Resources/ Hydrology/ Earth Science/ Soil Science & Water Management/
Environmental Sciences for S.No-01, Doctorate (Ph.D) in Engineering or Sciences
or equivalent degree for S.No-02, Post Graduation (PG) Degree in Basic Sciences
(Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Geology, Environmental Sciences, Remote
Sensing & GIS) with NET qualification or Graduation Degree in Professional
Course (B.E/ B.Tech) with GATE qualified in Civil/ Hydrology/ Water Resources/
Hydraulics/ Agriculture/ Environmental Sciences or related field with relevant
experience for S.No-03.
Selection Process: Selection will be based on interview.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may attend walk in interview along with bio
data in the prescribed format, passport size photograph, originals & attested
copies of relevant certificates on 04-01-2016 at 11:00 AM. Venue details are
